Gardening and yard maintenance is most often funded under Core Supports, though where the work also builds your skills or independence it can sometimes connect to Capacity Building. The exact category depends on how your plan was written and what goals it reflects.

Because every plan is different, it’s worth checking the wording of yours or asking your plan manager. We’re happy to explain what’s typically possible, but we’ll never claim funding we can’t actually see in your plan.

We’ll suggest a rhythm based on your space and your plan, then lock in a schedule you’re comfortable with. If your needs shift, we adjust the frequency rather than holding you to a rigid arrangement.

It depends on how your plan is managed. If your plan is managed by the NDIA, you’ll generally need to use an NDIS-registered provider. If you’re plan-managed or self-managed, you usually have more flexibility and can choose a wider range of providers, including unregistered ones.

The best approach is to confirm your management type before you commit, so you know what you’re entitled to choose. We’re happy to explain how it works and help you make a confident decision either way.
